How do I start automatic tracking?

Open Sneeze Counter on your Watch, tap Start tracking, and allow microphone access. Detected sneezes are added automatically without confirming each event. The button changes to Pause tracking while the session is active. Open Tracking to see the detailed status.

Will it work when I lower my wrist?

Tracking can continue in the background while its microphone session remains active. Calls, Siri, system interruptions, unavailable audio, or the operating system can stop it. Check the displayed state when you return. Continuous microphone use consumes battery; uninterrupted all-day coverage and battery endurance have not been established.

What does Resume when opened do?

Starting tracking enables Resume when opened. When that setting remains on, reopening the app attempts to start a new session if the prior session stopped. It does not restart the microphone automatically while the app is in the background. Pause tracking clears the setting so your choice to stop persists. You can also change it in Settings.

Why are counts missing or incorrect?

Detection is experimental. Quiet or distant sneezes may be missed, and another person’s sneeze or a similar sound may be counted. The app cannot identify who sneezed. A blank day may mean tracking was paused or events were missed. Audio recognition is not a diagnosis, allergy test, or explanation of a cause.

How do I correct a count?

Use Correct count to add a missed sneeze or burst. In History, open an entry to edit its count or remove a false detection. Optional context describes what was around you; it does not establish a cause. Undo last change is available for changes in the current app session.

What if microphone access was denied?

Allow Sneeze Counter microphone access in Watch Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone, then return to the app and resume tracking. History and correction controls remain usable without microphone access.

Where is my journal stored?

Your journal stays in local storage shared by the Watch app and its complication. There is no cloud upload, iPhone sync, export, or remote restore. The journal is excluded from backups. Uninstalling the app or losing the Watch can erase your records.

How do I delete entries?

Delete an individual entry in History, or use Settings → Delete all entries and confirm. Pause tracking first if you do not want new automatic entries to be added. Sun Ryse does not hold a remote copy of the journal.

Why does my complication show an older count?

watchOS controls complication and Smart Stack refresh timing. Open Sneeze Counter to see the current saved total. Add the complication through your watch face’s edit controls or add the widget to your Smart Stack.

What should I do if storage fails?

If the app shows a journal error, use Try storage again or Try journal again after checking available Watch storage. Tracking cannot start while the journal is unavailable. Do not uninstall the app as a first troubleshooting step if you want to retain local records.
